Who is this qualification for?

For senior health and safety professionals responsible for setting strategy, leading H&S across projects or organisations, and influencing senior management. Suitable for people who develop policies, lead improvement programmes, oversee serious incident investigations and provide competent advice at a strategic level.

• Group or regional H&S managers
• Consultants providing strategic H&S advice

What evidence will you need?

Evidence is based on your normal strategic health and safety duties and typically includes:

• H&S policies and strategic plans
• Risk profiles or risk registers
• Audit or review reports
• Accident and incident investigation reports
• Improvement plans and action trackers
• Training or briefing programmes
• Consultation or safety committee records
• Performance dashboards or KPI reports
• Emails or reports to senior management
• Meeting minutes with directors or clients

Assessment is discussion based with no written coursework and is completed online around your workload.

What happens after you apply?

An assessor will call you for a short profiling chat to confirm the qualification is achievable for you, then you can decide if you want to enrol.

    Please note: This qualification is for people already working in a senior health and safety role, responsible for setting or influencing H&S strategy, leading improvements, advising senior management and overseeing health and safety across projects, sites or an organisation. If you are not currently working at this level of responsibility, you will not be able to enrol on this qualification. If you’re unsure, please contact us and we can guide you to the right option.
