CSCS Card Types Explained: Which Card Do You Need?
If you want to work on construction sites in the UK, you will usually need a CSCS card. These cards help employers confirm that workers have the training, qualifications and health and safety knowledge required for their role.
There are several different types of CSCS cards depending on your job and level of responsibility on site. Labourers, skilled tradespeople, supervisors and managers all use different cards.
The most common cards include the Green Labourer Card, the Blue Skilled Worker Card, the Gold Advanced Craft Card, the Gold Supervisor Card and the Black Manager Card. There are also specialist cards such as the White Academically Qualified Person card.
