Who is this qualification for?

This NVQ is for people already working in an occupational health and safety role, responsible for developing or implementing procedures, carrying out inspections, delivering briefings and supporting compliance on construction sites or within organisations.

What evidence will you need?

Evidence is based on your normal health and safety duties and typically includes:

• Health and safety procedures or arrangements
• Risk assessments and method statements
• Inspection records and reports
• Incident or near-miss investigations
• Training records or briefing materials
• Consultation or communication records
• Improvement or action plans
• Videos showing H&S systems in practice (site setup, signage, welfare, traffic management, accident reporting).
